The first day of our Honeymoon, Brugges 2011

During the summer of the year 2000 I saw a flock of Magpies in a field next to my mum's house in Cornwall. A voice within me said it was a good omen and that something brilliant would happen to me that year. 

A few months later in September during my last year of Uni a rather good looking chap walked down the stairs in my shared house. I was struggling to pull a mattress into a room. Sam kindly asked if I needed any help. Well, it was love at first site for me! 

After a couple of months of getting to know each other as friends we got together in November, having our first kiss by the 'dreaming spires of Oxford'. We moved to Bristol in 2003 and fell in love with the city and it's people. It's an incredible place to live and we just adore it. 

On Boxing day 2010 we went to Oxford for the first time in years, to have lunch with Sam's mum. Needless to say I was completely and utterly shocked when he got down on one knee in the snow, at the same place where we first kissed 10 years before. We love spending each new day of our journey through life together. Now we are on to the the next phase, one which we are truly grateful for - our first baby...
